Dana International

Born Sharon Cohen, the singer underwent gender reassignment surgery in 1993, the same year her first album was released. Changing her name to Dana International, the talented singer went on to represent Israel in the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest, winning the content with the popular song “Diva”. Eight albums later, Dana International has become one of Israel’s most popular, well, international exports, going on to lead a thriving singing career.
